Major. It seems reports are confirmed of a Necron Pyramid on Semmiel. Initial reports show the planets surface to be similar to that of Holy Mars yet with no atmosphere of any consequence. No activity was seen on planet but recent reports show a large power emination beginning from the Necron Pyramid itself.

I believe we have an opportunity here to put the Dread Legion to a possible battle field test. The planet is of too little consequence to risk the vessels of the Machine God and while I believe the Emperor’s Space Marines would do an adequate job the lack of a sustainable atmosphere is not too their advantage. As such I am recommending the immediate deployment of the Dread Legion.

We can have them on site in three weeks time and with the modifications we have made to the Dreadnaught Sarcophogaus the Legion should be able to opporate with limited support on the planets surface. The servitors we have modified can also be sent to the planet to assist in reloading and refitting the Dreadnaughts.

Intial tests have shown that the Legion can be effective. We have only had two instances of the test subjects attempting to escape their 'volunteerism' if you will pardon my use of the word sir. These instances are attached to this report in files AM3313/TA.

I believe the Legion can have complete pacification of expected resistance within 96 hours of deployment on the planets surface. We feel the 3 week arrival time will get them to Semmiel before what ever is inside the Pyramid is fully operational.
